Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
3/5
Performing simple diagnostic cardiac tests on patients.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
3/5
Currently learning new topics in university which I have found enjoyable.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
2/5
My role within the department has not changed since beginning the apprenticeship.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
2/5
There have been a few topics that seem to be unrelated to my role. The timetable has been disorganised and on occasion there have been changes made but students haven’t been informed.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
2/5
I have been given day release to attend university and have asked for extra study time as the workload is vast especially as there is a second day of lectures. This has been difficult to keep on top of as work is not required to give extra study time.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
2/5
People are available to speak to at the university however I only attend 1 day a wk and the timetable is usually full from 9am-5pm so can be difficult to speak with people from that point of view.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
3/5
Currently I have seen no change within my role. However in the next few years I expect to see a difference.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
1/5
There’s very little opportunity.
