Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
2/5
Managing and dealing with the Third party Credit Hire claims portfolio and settling these claims.
Focusing mainly on the pre litigation aspect
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
2/5
It challenges you to learn the law, and how to apply this to a role.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
2/5
Utilising relevant case law to enhance our offer prospects and to dispute back when a CHO doesn't accept an offer made to settle.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
2/5
The structure is good, took a while for some people to understand, however now I am in the flow of it, it is much easier.
The organisation could be slightly better. Especially at the start / first term.
Coach allocation from the start would have helped massively.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
2/5
Other than having a full study day (off the job training) a week, there are not many other avenues of help that I am aware of directly through the employer
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
2/5
BPP have been good, however have been pretty vague when answering some of our specific queries, they do however always try to help where possible
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
2/5
This qualification will assist me more for the future roles I take, so not overly applicable, however I can apply some of the learnings still
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
2/5
None

What tips or advice would you give to others applying to The AA?
Communicate. It's key, even when it feels like you are doing it too much.
You are very much left in charge to steer your own career path and the effort you put in = the effort you get out.
