Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

I have to support the day to days of the senior project managers. in my role it has varied from project to project. the current role I am doing testing and commissioning, witness testing and weekly reports.

To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

Very much a challange however I enjoy this every day is diffrent and I am on the right path as I enjoy construction very much.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learned new skills yes it has allowed me to under working in the office environment and what it is like being around other who have learned the skills I am looking to work and get better also learned what responsibilities are how they have to be delegated

It is a very big organization so they are very good at ensuring everything is structured well for trainees.

How much support do you receive from your employer?

In terms of the employer I am receiving the help needed to progress the main thing is asking and reaching out without asking no one can help. So I think that is key everyone are at arcadis is very much happy to help.

How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Everything I need to help they have exceeded my expectations for a online uni.

How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

Very much so however again all depends on the current roles and responsibility in relation to the project I am working on and also as I change semester and advance my degree I work on things different to the project.

Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

We have lots to consider Arcadis has thier own in house networking team made up of the diffrent indiviual within Arcadis.

Why?

I have only seen progress since joining and also have seen myself progress if you a young grad would want to progress and train this is the place and it will allow anyone who has the hunger for construction to excel !
