Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

It is my responsibility to carry stuff safely between venues. I need to be able to build effective routes and securely travel along them when planning and following a route. This may entail the use of maps, traffic data, and local knowledge. I am in charge of loading and unloading freight from cars. I must be able to lift and carry heavy stuff because driving is physically hard. Customer interaction I am required to contact customers in order to confirm deliveries or pick-ups. Giving advice, responding to questions, or resolving difficulties are all examples of this.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

Take pleasure in the challenge of driving safely and effectively. I also enjoy the chance to meet new people and learn about different cultures.
One of my favorite aspects of this programme is the sense of community. I have met some wonderful people through my job, and I feel like I am part of a group. We all work together to make sure our deliveries arrive on schedule and our customers are delighted.
My schedule also allows me to be flexible. I am allowed to set my own hours and take time off as needed. This is significant to me because I have a family and need to be able to manage my job and personal lives.

Driving defensively has taught me to be more aware of my surroundings and to anticipate potential problems. This has assisted me in avoiding accidents and driving more safely. Route planning: I have learnt to plan efficient routes while keeping traffic and road closures in mind. This has enabled me to save both time and fuel. Customer service: I have learned how to properly communicate with customers and give them exceptional service. This has aided me in developing excellent relationships with consumers and ensuring their satisfaction with my deliveries.

Its extremely well-organized and structured. There are established norms and practises, and my schedule and responsibilities are always kept up to date. The training I received was extensive and helped me comprehend the numerous aspects of my work.

How much support do you receive from your employer?

My employer provides a lot of assistance to me as a driver. I have access to an extensive instruction booklet that covers every area of my job, such as safety procedures, customer service, and route planning. I've also been allocated a mentor who is accessible to answer my inquiries and offer advice.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

My training provider provided me with a lot of assistance as I worked towards my drivers licence. The training provider gave me in-depth instruction on all elements of the profession, including safety measures, customer service, and route planning. I also have access to a mentor who could answer my queries and offer advice.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

The instruction assisted me in developing a thorough awareness of the safety practises required for safe driving. I learned the value of obeying traffic laws, being aware of my surroundings, and being prepared for the unexpected. This knowledge has assisted me in avoiding accidents and driving more safely. The course assisted me in honing my customer service skills. I learned how to successfully engage with clients, give outstanding service, and solve difficulties. This has aided me in developing excellent relationships with consumers and ensuring their satisfaction with my deliveries.

These are some examples: CEVA Logistics organises a variety of social events throughout the year, including workplace picnics, holiday parties, and sporting events. These activities are a terrific way to meet new people and strengthen bonds with coworkers. CEVA Logistics has a number of sports teams, including football, basketball, and softball. These teams are a terrific way to stay active while still having fun with coworkers.
