I currently lead on the Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner apprenticeship and I lead on Module 1 and Module 2 on this course, but I am experienced in all modules and end point assessments.
I support student in all cohorts to attend teaching, support additional needs, and engage in all aspects of the programme.
i liaise with team members daily/weekly over improvements to the course
i run meetings around programme development, student support and all additional arising matters
i am responsible for line managing 2 PWP tutors

To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

i thorough enjoy the programme i work on and the programme i study on. i currently study on the L7 academic professional which has brought me closer to a wider pool of people witin my workforce.
i have predominently learn from experiences with other and sharing learning and experiences
i also the idea of finding and evidencing how your experiences match and meet the compencies needed, or explore how to achieve these to improve teaching

How well organised/structured is your programme?

my work programme is extremely well organised and structured and follows constant review feedback and updates necesary.
my l7 programme could be much more structured including more accessible resources, adaptive practice for additional needs, more on hands learning and interactive teaching, more learning resources to follow and more strcutre in place to actively achieve protected study time

How much support do you receive from your employer?

constant support is available if needed both from people below and above my role. i get 6 weekly line managemnt but i can also contact my LMS at any given point. i can also reach out to other managers and colelagues and there is employer based support available to all
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

there has been good support in regards to engaging in the programme and starting this. this has, at points, sadly dipped off as the work commitments have increased and prioritised which has meant that most students on the programme then feel unable to commit to protected study time, or achieve their EPA
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

there has definately been some learning taken in regads to different learning styles of students, different learning theories and how to adapt practice or increase the use of advance digital technology to support the new hybrid/online working models we all work to now. i think there could be improvements in the hands on experience approach
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

yes there is lots - not only can you be invovled in wider team activites, you can join different groups, teams, events, and more has become avialble since COVID restrictions have lifted. I can also set these up myself, which i have done, and reach out to all and everyone to meet up more informally or plan wider events

Yes
Why?
its a very flexible and very supportive workforce. people genuinely work together as a team to try and get teh same end results. everyone is very open to ideas and change and anyone will support you if you need it or ask. this is often also offered and the load is regularly shared
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to NHS?
be ready for some hard work and some battles (it is the NHS after all!) however also be ready for really genuine hard working caring indivuals who are striving to support all the best they can, with the resourcse they have. be open, ask questions, and get your hands dirty!
