Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

a day to day role as a Technical Services Engineer involves the monitoring of hundreds of servers and providing all necessary details to your entire dedicated team, this job requires focus as their is many small details that are important for every task, as an apprenticeship i focus on duty manager tasks which are rotated between employees every week.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I thoroughly enjoy my programme and the job that im learning, it can be a lot of detail sometimes but once you do it yourself for a bit of time it becomes a 2nd nature to you and you no longer have to think about it, i think the versatility of the job makes it exciting

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have developed many skills during my time so far at Fujitsu such as team building as a lot of projects require a lot of communication and everyone doing their part. I have also leanr ta lot about attention to detail as the more effort you work with the better the outcome becomes.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

I believe my programme is incredibly well structured as Fujitsu is a very well formed as their is always such great communication between my work and my place of study ad i am always sure of my long term study plan and what is to come, everything i need to know is shown to me.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

The support i have received from my employer is more than adequate with constant check ups and asking how i am getting on within work and within my tech studies. If i require assistance for work i can always ask my employer and he will help himself or get another employee to take me through it.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Apart from my regional trainer, I did not receive much support from the training provider. However, my regional trainer was always accessible through email or phone, providing me with additional assistance for my work whenever I required it. Moreover, he ensured that I was aware of the specific subjects we would be discussing during our meetings.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

believe that certain aspects of my apprenticeship have proven to be beneficial in my current position. For instance, I acquired knowledge about various leadership styles and how to adjust them to accommodate diverse learning preferences. Additionally, I gained valuable insights into coaching and supporting team members through their personal and professional growth.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

There is quite a few different activities within Fujitsu that take place such as an upcoming charity football game between employees. We do try to have regular team outings, for example going out for a meal or a night out at special occasions. I would like to partake in more extra curricular activities if they were available.

In my opinion, Fujitsu is an exceptional employer that offers numerous avenues for professional growth. Compared to some other prominent organizations I've worked with, they demonstrate an admirable commitment to treating their employees well. Furthermore, I find the extent of training opportunities available at Fujitsu to be outstanding, and my training has always been well-supported.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Fujitsu?
During the application and interview process, it is crucial to be authentic and present yourself as you are. Make sure to emphasize any areas of interest you may have for career advancement, such as expressing a desire to work within the cyber security department. I have always appreciated Fujitsu for their exceptional ability to provide such opportunities.
