Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
This includes:
- Consulting with line managers to provide HR guidance.
- Developing solutions, programs and policies on any HR issues.
- Managing and resolving employee relations issues by conducting thorough and objective investigations.
- Maintaining knowledge of legal requirements relating to employment law to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Partnering with the legal colleagues when required.
- Providing performance management guidance to line managers (e.g., coaching, career development, disciplinary actions).
- Working with leaders and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
- Providing HR policy guidance.
- Developing contract terms for new hires, promotions and transfers.
- Providing guidance and input on restructures, workforce planning and succession planning.
