On a daily basis, I have managed the delivery of active travel projects, managing design teams based in the UK and India. Using various software and standards to deliver compliant designs.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy the work usually, but I feel as though I have been part of no apprenticeship. I have been in the company over 6 years and I have barely any guidance from the company in terms of the apprenticeship, only what my mentor has provided.

Not very well for apprentices in Wales, there has been no transparency for apprentices in Wales and no clear career path.

I receive lots of help from the university for my studies.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I feel that the university course does not really apply to my role as I have only studied two modules out of 6 years which is relevant. It would be more relevant if I was given the opportunity to gain experience in other sectors.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

I have been vice chair for the ICE graduate and early years committee, taken part in ICE Bridges to schools events, delivering presentations to primary school students.
