Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
My role is to provide a friendly face to all my customers and staff, making them feel welcome. I make sure that everything is running efficiently and if there is a hiccup, I find the root cause and act on it before it becomes a bigger problem.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
The programme gives me the opportunity to move forward in my career and gain new and valuable insights into the world of hospitality and business. It is extremely rewarding as I always feel I have added to my knowledge and understanding. I would definitely recommend the program to other students.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
The amount of new skills that I have proclaimed within this role is incredible. I understand how the business side of the company runs and how if that doesn’t work the rest runs behind. I know how to deal with issues that if it wasn’t for my training, I would have never known how to handle them.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
3/5
Very organised.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
2/5
A lot of support.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
My training provider makes sure that we have one to one sessions on a regular basis. They help me further develop my training and understanding in the certain areas that I am struggling with.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
5/5
I am better able to inform my staff of how they need to act and preform to better themselves also. This added knowledge provides strength when I am doing certain tasks as it allows me to focus on what is important and best for the team and the company as a whole.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
1/5
N/A.
