Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
The Taylor Wessing Trailblazing Open Day was an incredible opportunity to hear directly from Trainees, Partners and the Graduate Recruitment Team. Students were also given the chance to speak to individuals from the firm and ask any questions they had any concerns about. Each member at Taylor Wessing was extremely welcoming and friendly which highly demonstrated the culture of the firm as a whole.
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
We were provided with effective insights into the firm and the type of work the firm is involved in. It was reassuring to hear that there are a wide-range of sectors that individuals are able to work within.

Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
Students were able to participate in a Commercial Business Exercise which was an opportunity to improve teamwork skills alongside demonstrate and build commercial awareness. It also provided students with the opportunity to pitch to Trainees at the firm in the group exercise and the team kindly provided feedback with regards to the strongest points and areas for improvement.

To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
The environment of the firm and the individuals at the firm were extremely welcoming and insightful. Being provided with the opportunity to directly hear from Trainees, Partners and the Graduate Recruitment Team demonstrated how Taylor Wessing truly cares about the success of individuals who wish to pursue a career at the firm.

Don't pretend to be someone you're not. Taylor Wessing is truly a supportive and collaborative firm who are dedicated towards the areas they work within. If you do not have a genuine interest or passion for the areas that the firm works within, do not pretend that you do for the sake of it as this will be reflected in both your application alongside at the interview stage.
