Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
This was a one day in person open day, with a group of around 25-30 invitees. We were welcomed into the firm through talks from graduate recruitment, graduate recruitment partners as senior partners. We took part in a networking lunch with trainees provided by the firm's in-house kitchen. In the afternoon we took part in an interactive commercial awareness game with attendees and trainees.
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
The day was incredibly insightful and we were given lots of hints and tips as to acing the application process. We were also given a valuable understanding of the firm and its culture through graduate recruitment and partners.

This was an excellent networking opportunity and it was great to be able to be in a firm environment, the day has really built up my confidence in this regard. I have also developed skills of teamwork and group presentations through the commercial awareness game.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
Brilliant company culture- everyone was very welcoming and invested in getting to know us. It was great to see people take the time out of their day to come and talk to us.

What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Taylor Wessing
The firm placed a huge emphasis on being yourself which was great to hear. As it is a sector-focused firm I would definitely recommend brushing up on your commercial awareness but this is put to the test in the game at the end of the day.
