Working on both the proactive and reactive elements of PR, as well as supporting on going projects and campaigns. I also lead on team finances, admin tasks and aid sub brands such as First Choice and Crystal Ski, with press trips and campaigns. Recently I have begun leading on the reporting and evaluation aspect too.

I have developed my communication and leadership skills massively, as well as my time management and confidence through leading and supporting initiatives and organising events. Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

The programme has been well structured throughout and tailored to aid our development and allows us to take part in events and work related activities in order to develop our skills and complete any tasks we need to do in order to obtain our level 6 degree in business management
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
We have received lots of support from our employer since the beginning. I have daily contact with my line manager who is always happy to help me and understands what I need to do in order to develop my skills. At TUI, we also have a dedicated apprenticeship team who are always happy to offer advice and support if needed
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
After some initial teething issues being enrolled with the university training provider, we have received a good amount of support with our studies, including regular catch up calls with both the relevant team and the lecturers, flexibility on assignment due dates and empathy during illness. They’ve also put on additional support sessions where needed.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
4/5
The training that I have received from our provider has equipped me with a wealth of knowledge and allowed me to further develop my passion for business management. The university provided us a sheet of key skills and behaviours (KSBs) which correspond to daily workplace activities, ultimately aiding my development
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
I have had the opportunity to attend and even lead on several networking events, ranging from conferences, to evenings in London and new initiatives within the organisation. There are several teams groups, such as the reading club and running club, whereby you can talk to colleagues with similar interests and immerse yourself in new experiences.
