Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
As an apprentice, we are tasked with working on 2D/3D Auto CAD drawings as well as creating site packs and traveling across the country to new sites to help on the design/logistics behind their construction.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
With all factors taken into account, including office work, work environment, benefits and more I find myself extremely lucky to have the job I do and think most inspiring engineers would too.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
My skills on design soft wear have increased substantially. On top of this our trips to university expand my knowledge in higher level maths, science and other topics

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
My start on this job role was a lot at first as it took about a month to get started and properly recruited into the system, so there is always room for improvement, but my opinion was heard and changes will be made (very structured for its workers)
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
The support from the company is huge, with yearly benefits for holidays and even EVs, as well as work from home days and one to one meetings to talk about any concerns, the support is incredible
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
3/5
When I am in university, the support is great, teachers will make extra lessons for anyone who is struggling and more, however there is room for improvement as when we leave the communication is lacking but we have raised this and changes will be made
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
5/5
The base mechanics learned in university helps greatly with working in the electrical section of the company, on top of this we get training and lessons on computer soft wear that is vital in the office for working on contract work.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
2/5
At the moment there is no options for activities, however me and the apprentices were talking about starting a sports event at the nearby football field, maybe even for charity.
