Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the virtual experience and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
An Insight in Bank of England an its various divisions, as well as a focus on the abundant diversity networks available at the organisation and everything BoE does to support them.
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
There was a really useful insight into what options there were in terms of routes to take into the bank, as well as insight into which areas one could specialise in once you are there. However, they made it clear for a lot of routes that specialisation would occur later in the application/ role.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
It was extremely clear throughout from everyone who represented the Bank that the culture was very friendly and accepting. It was mentioned on numerous occasions that there are scarcely any occasions when employees are required to work excessive hours.

What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Bank of England
It is clear people working at the bank are there to be apart of an institution that makes a real positive impact on society via the economy and beyond, so I would advise applicants to be motivated and passionate about this. Also do not feel intimidated everyone is super lovely.
