Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

I create social media and marketing content. This currently includes doing graphic design to create posts for social media or for creating university banners to promote enterprise. Furthermore, I am helping to launch the UK and Germany Instagram accounts.
I also get involved in the HR part of the business, providing ideas to improve the number of graduate employees applying for the business and to improve employee retention.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

Yes, I was given a lot of responsibility like being the leader in the launch of Instagram in Germany and the UK. Also getting the chance to provide all the social media content on all social media platforms.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?

Enterprise has helped develop my communication skills to explain content effectively. I have also learned how to delegate tasks in order to make the business more efficient by creating excellent marketing content.
Furthermore, Enterprise has successfully helped me to learn more about current matters like Black History Month, social mobility and given me the opportunity to create content for BHM and join the social mobility committee to help improve the business every day.

I received a lot of support and guidance through every part of my job. There is always someone to ask for help and provide you with that support. Enterprise feels like a community.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

AMAZING! Everyone is so supportive and has such an amazing culture- by being very inclusive and colleagues are always very interested in finding out more about yourself!
