Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
I am a software developer and essentially help design, create and deliver applications to customers requirements
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
So far I am enjoying it very much as what I did at Uni was similar to what I did at work making it great. However, there can be times where you have tight deadlines but managers are very understanding and will allow time off to do this

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
I have learnt plenty of new skills ranging from soft to hard skills and received certifications from well known providers like Python Institute and much more

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
I would say that it is structured well as what you do at Uni where you learn and practice a few things here and there that can then be applied to work allowing confidence to increase and having a wide range of skills at the end of the day
How much support do you receive from your employer?
4/5
I receive lots of support from employer by encouraging me to try lots of new things and they believe me in when at times I may feel like I don't. They allow us to take time to do our Uni work
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
They give us some time to complete our Uni work as they understand that it is important and they don't give us too much work and always ask us if we are okay on taking on a project on a for example during these times
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
4/5
I am able to learn new skills and program languages which I can use in my role to take on projects that would come in and be able to apply it in a customer/business type scenario
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
4/5
There are plenty of social events that take place at work and everyone here are easy to talk to and you are able to talk to higher ups or managers very easily without having to feel like you are an apprentice and feel like you are wasting their time

Recommendations & Advice

Would you recommend Fujitsu to a friend?
Yes
Why?
It is very different to how other place work as the culture here is different as everyone are easy to talk to and love to help you and make time for you to do that
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Fujitsu?
Be honest about yourself and think like a team player in Fujitsu there is no me but we as everyone here works as a team
