Managing a clinical service for the NHS. Budget responsibility, recruitment, capacity planning, estates and facilities management, investigating complaints and incidents, service improvement, project management, change management.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I am enjoying the study, learning new skills and developing in a way I do not usually have the opportunity to within my usual role.
It can be difficult to balance the requirements of the programme with the day to day demands of a busy role.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I am at the start of the apprenticeship, but have already learnt several new theoretical models and theories. I have also started to learn practical skills.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

Now that we are up and running I feel that I am in the swing of it, and understand the structure. It feels more organised now I know what the expectations and structure are.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

My employer has been supportive, and have organised 'wrap around' support for those of us on the course.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

My tutor has been easy to get hold of when I need her, and has taken the time to answer queries and understand my personal circumstances. The welcome and induction process was smooth.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

The role will equip me with skill to be a better leader and manager.

Yes, lots of wellbeing events such as exercise classes, staff networks - women's leadership/LGBTQ+/Multi cultral staff/disability wellness/neurodiversity.
