5/5
I enjoy the team around me and that I learn new skills and increase my knowledge. I enjoy that i can apply what i have learnt at university and apply it in the work place. i do like to promote the degree to others who may be interested in doing it.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
I have increased my business knowledge and how to run a business. what is important in business. I have improved greatly on my leaderships skills and communication skills. I have learnt how to manage my time more effectively and how to be agile and open with the team around me.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
5/5
I think COVID and lockdown has not helped with the structure as we had to pause and i think this then let to losing motivation. I think communication between uni and their students could be better. there is a lot of work involved and assignments when we are working as well and have other commitments it can be hard to juggle.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
As I am business manager it is down to me to ensure i give myself the time and support to get my uni work done. my ops con will allow me time out of the store to get work done when need and this is great for me to get tasks done.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
The uni offers a lot of support. [This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the Higherin Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions] is amazing at offering support when needed and there is always help in terms of IT at the uni. the lecturers are always offering support too when needed and extensions if needed. i feel there is support when we need it and when we ask.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
5/5
i do think it will help me in my role when I get my degree however i do feel that it already helps me in my role as there is skills that i have learnt so far that have helped me put in to practice tasks at my store to improve it.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
yes. we have crew events twice a year which we organise ourselves but there is also foot ball tournaments we can do. there is always something advertised on social media that shows an event like a charity fund raiser we can join in and be part of if we want to.
