My role includes undertaking training and attending company and contractor meetings as required and directed by by my line manager, and assisting in approving and processing payments for works that have been completed by the contractor.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy the programme I'm on because everyone has made it clear that they are available to help me complete my course and provide me with the necessary material, training and guidance I need to do so.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I'm learning how to work independently and to organise myself to get work done all whilst paying attention to small details to ensure no major mistakes are being made. I am also learning about NEC contracts and other construction terminology.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

Very organised, I have monthly check-ins with my Apprenticeship outcomes officer, and I have a scheduled day where I can focus on my studies.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

Very helpful, I have been assigned a day release for my studies, and if I have queries, all my colleagues are happy to assist me and take the time to explain anything to me. Training sessions are set up weekly to help with APC training, and there is a learning area to help further your knowledge on topics you want to cover.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
