My job is never boring. It mostly consists of site work where set out for works or inspect. I also have meeting to plan for the coming weeks and to check progress.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

It is very interesting. I am given a lot of exposure to different parts of the business.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learned how to use surveying equipment and attended a training course for this. I have also attended a first aid training course and have a CSCS card qualification.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

It is well structured however it has been delayed and re-planned due to unforeseen circumstances.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I receive a lot of support from my employer with university exams and course works. But also a lot of support with the daily duties of my role. I can ask anyone for help and they will support me willingly
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I attend uni every week but do not attend all lectures since some of them are digital so I have to study by myself. However, the lecturers are eager to help with any problems.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

It gives me an understanding of the fundamentals of all the work I carry out at work. But it covers some topics that aren't directly applicable to my project.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Yes, there are social activities with all my colleagues as well as opportunities to attend networking events.
