Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
It was extremely well pitched at my level and very relevant. Lots of new information as well as building upon existing knowledge. Well spaced out so it was not too stressful and able to do alongside my fulltime job. Tutor so helpful, kind and supportive. Always available when needed. Excellent learning tools and resources to support assignments etc.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
Learnt to include the team with problem solving and creative brainstorming.
Applied the organizational strategy to the team and created a team ethos and team objectives.
More forgiving and understanding when staff make mistakes.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?
Well paced and spread out. Good mix of self directed learning, workbooks and workshops.
Use of Bud as an online resource to view your progress and time frames very helpful. Meetings/workshops planned in advance and moveable to fit around work schedule. Relevant teaching ahead of expected assignments.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
Employer encouraged my application and checked in on progress and signed documents as required. Not much else required of employer, but no chance of backfill for my time.
Employer happy to support others as appropriate on the course too.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
Variable opportunities for networking.
Annual social activities by the organization (summer festival and staff awards)
Hospital choirs
No other social groups or sports groups that I am aware of
As a team we try to have social activities every couple of months but can be difficult to find time/person to organise.
