I am training to be a cable design engineer, this includes the use of auto-cad and use of in house programmes. I learn along side my course.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy it a lot but do you think you miss out a lot of the university experience.

I have learned a lot of new skills and this programme has allowed me to put skills learned in university into practise.

My programme is really structured and there is always help available when needed. The course and my work go hand in hand so I am never overloaded with information.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

Whatever amount is necessary they are always there and I never feel anxious to ask them any questions.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

There is always help but specifically from other students as they are experiencing the same amount of stress as you and know how you feel.

It allows for confidence in my work but there is still a long way to go and learn before i am able to perform at a high level
