Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
A morning call with my manager(s) to discuss our priorities for the day before a daily stand up with the remainder of the team. Depending on what the client requires at that point in time, I may be asked to complete a slideshow or work on an excel document. There will always involve a high level of communication as calls are frequent.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Yes, a greater level of responsibility than I was initially expecting to get. This included major exposure to the client e.g. I presented 1:1 to the client lead in a project for an aerospace & defence company.

There were always contacts available if I needed questions answered or just reassuring that I was doing a good job, both in the project team and through HR.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
Albeit online, the general atmosphere was one of positivity, support and collaboration. It was clear that if I went into the office, there would be a fantastic atmosphere to work in.

Overall Experience
To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
I found the placement thoroughly challenging and equally enjoyable. I believe the skills I developed in the year will put me in good stead in my future career. I would highly recommend Accenture to anyone interested in a career in consulting.
