Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
Varies hugely depending what project you’re on. I acted as a business analyst (conversing between the client and the technical team) on one project and as a PMO on another.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Yes and No. One project I played an essential role, having exposure and presenting to the client. The other, hardly any, I just made sure my colleagues hit their deadlines by emailing around.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
Fantastic- lovely people, extremely cultivating for increasing your confidence. There is a hard work ethic in place here to though, with many people working late into the night. Sometimes you feel pressure to stay up as well to help out.

Overall Experience
To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
Absolutely loved the first 7 months of my time at Accenture, lovely culture and given ample amounts of opportunities to hold responsibility and develop myself. The last 5 months massively contradict this though, still a nice culture, but I was given hardly any responsibility on my last project and didn’t feel like I developed much at all.

Be yourself, be enthusiastic- keen to learn and have strong interest in technology it’s impact and future implications (because it is amazing!)
