Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
I work with fellow colleagues to deliver services and products to client's based on their needs and requirements. The services I personally deliver are all digital and involve around technology solutions
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
I enjoy it as it really sets you up for the real business world and eases you into it to. You get to visit the office and work with friendly people too. There is also a University side to the course where you can learn key skills which are beneficial for the apprenticeship.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
3/5
You learn how to live in a real work environment, You also learn more about the real time working industry as well as how to interact with people, how to propose business strategies and gain confidence to take responsibility for your work. You'll also pick technology practices like programming.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
3/5
Everything is organized pretty well, resources are and help is clearly stated and a clear pathway is presented for them. However I feel there needs to be more support for getting roles or training courses provided by the apprenticeship for us to get onto projects.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
2/5
Not much support is given, if we ask a question our employer would do or best to come up with a solution, as well as direct us to resources or people better to support the issue. A list of demand on roles are handed out weekly but outside that not much support is provided t get a role. This may cause long periods of being on bench doing nothing.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
1/5
There isn't any =one who volunteers to provide us training or willing to teach us anything. It's more we have to train our self using online courses provided by the company. However when your new you are confused about a couple things and don't have the skillset to teach yourself up to a professional standard where you can be involved with many roles.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
4/5
Roles you undergo definitely help with the next role you go under even if they are not relevant to your previous role. They teach you social skills and how to maintain a good work ethic. You can also learn from the mistakes you made from your previous project or things you need to get better at.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
4/5
There are many extra curricular activities, online courses is one of them, there a great tool if you want to upskill yourself in a particular area. There are also many side of desk work such as creating a newsletter for a community group or being involved in events and community gatherings.

Recommendations & Advice

Would you recommend Accenture to a friend?
Yes
Why?
Accenture provides a lot of opportunities that will definitely benefit any individual. It is has welcoming community of people, and gives room to take advantage of your talent and skills.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Accenture?
Be aware that there may be times where things would be static, and the programmed doesn't help you much to get involved in projects and work it's very independent style of working. In addition it is competitive to land roles within the work space. However through all of that the program is still the best place to grab opportunities you couldn't gain else where.
