Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
I am an account manager for a third party logistics company. I personally look after 2 clients, one of them being an Ecommerce customer and the other is a medical supplier providing B2B service. I am responsible for managing the day to day running of the operation and looking after the client KPI's, SLAs and invoicing.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
I am still in the very early stages of my programme, so far we have done 4 different modules. I have found each module very informative and I have learnt a lot of information to help me in my role. Each session is very interactive and overall a very enjoyable experience so far.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
Yes, I have only been doing the apprenticeship for a few months but so far I have developed existing skills on communication where we learned about the different types of communication and how to use them effectively in the workplace. Recently, we have also learned about invoicing, which has helped me to learn new skills in this area.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
Each month we receive a list of available dates for the next training session, once I have selected the date that I would like to attend I am then sent an invite to the session with the textbook included as an attachment. As soon as the session is complete a textbook is then sent out to complete. There is no waiting or chasing involved so it all runs smoothly.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
My manager is very supportive of my progress and provides assistance as and when needed. When I have a training session booked in and need to have some time away from the office to concentrate on the course so I request to have time away from the office or work from home which is always approved.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
There are 2 people that join our monthly training sessions and both are extremely supportive. Whenever I have been stuck on a subject or unsure how to use the online system, I have reached out to them and they have been more than happy to help and ensure that I understand what is needed.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
4/5
So far, the topics that we have covered in the modules I have completed have been very relevant to my role. Each month we have discussed the topics and how they could relate to the roles each person is currently in and afterwards I have found ways of implementing the skills into my role.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
4/5
Yes, we have an employee engagement forum and a charity group where we arrange different activities or charity events for the site to get involved with each month. There are also events that include other sites, for example. This weekend we are attending a charity quiz night including 5 different local ceva sites.
