Resourcing Business Partner - responsible for attracting middle to senior management positions for CEVA Logistics. Control, create and drive attraction campaigns and work on various resourcing or talent based projects to add value.

To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy the blend of work based tasks and university days where I can share best practice and discuss challenges with both work placed colleagues and the university cohort.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Started my apprenticeship in Leadership and Management (CMDA) which so far has provided key knowledge, skills and behaviours that I have used through day-to-day activities and projects.
However my main areas of improvements has been making informed decisions through data and developing key stakeholder relationships.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

I like that the materials are all online and visible.
The tutors are responsive and supporting.
There is an element of personal time management that is crucial to manage, uni days, studying and work based tasks.

How much support do you receive from your employer?

I have a supportive manager that allows me to make my own study time, there is an element of self management, but work based or urgent tasks take priority.
CEVA Mentor and Uni Mentor are great supporting factors.

How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Lots of support. Tutors at the university are very responsive, supportive and not only do I have a work based mentor, I have a uni based mentor too.

How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

This will support me with future growth aspirations into management of people, projects and work based tasks.

Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

We are looking at a CSR day to support the local community as a team.
Yes our organisation holds various internal events, however I mainly support team based activities.
