Recommendations & Advice
Would you recommend Savills to a friend?
Why?
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Savills?
Research, Research, Research - Know everything about the company (Company history, share price, key people, recent research to name a few). Show real interest as you are applying to become part of that company to you need to know and show why you want to join this company. Again, reiterating the point regarding people, make it personable to Savills and yourself. Why would you be a good addition to the company? What makes you a good fit for Savills?
Be inquisitive - Savills is a company that really strives to be entrepreneurial and encourages its employees to do so. Have a list of considered questions to ask which you have thought about and researched. Emphasis on the 'considered', make your questions challenging and thought provoking for those whom you are asking the questions without trying to be too smart with it. For example, read recently published research articles and ask Director's for their thoughts on the current 'hot' topics in real estate. For example, how can real estate reduce its impact on the environment and how can companies implement ESG strategies in order to help reduce their carbon footprint in line with recent government regulation.
