Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
Varied, no job specific to apprentices you can apply for any role within the company so very diverse and individual to each person. My day to day is an a business analyst, very client focused, creating workshops note taking, gathering requirements
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
Yes, so many, the learning options feel endless and I have already added a lot of extra tools to my belt

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
3/5
It felt well organised at first but now just feels like we're working it out ourselves, this is equal parts towards the University and the Employer. As it's a Master's I understand we don't have quite as much structure but we're all just muddling through.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
4/5
My employer has plenty of support options available though most are outside of the apprenticeship itself, I do feel like if I asked for support I could find it though
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
3/5
Some tutors are better than others but after the induction I feel like we are waiting for more guidance on certain areas of it and have some hand ins coming up that we're not clear on. Wellbeing wise the support is there but for general information and checking in with our apprenticeship status not so much
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
4/5
I have not used anything that I learned in university within my role yet but think I might with future units.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
Yes, so many and something for everyone. Some feel like they've maybe been on hold due to the pandemic but there are so many things to get involved in.

Recommendations & Advice

Would you recommend Accenture to a friend?
Yes
Why?
The structure of the company means progression has so many different routes and there is also the option for lateral moves if you want to explore something new. It is a great environment for your career but also that appreciates wellbeing and a work/life balance.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Accenture?
Research the company structure, talk to people who work there to see if the model is definitely for you. You must be comfortable with networking and the potential to reapply and interview internally for new projects depending on the route in you take.
