Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
I work within the pmo shared service team working with different clients/stakeholders. I ensure the time they have charged in both systems matches up by inputting data into spreadsheets, analyzing it and then sending out reminder emails to ensure the people with discrepancy fixes them. The main aim being everything matches and the account isnt loosing any money. Along with upskilling by joining different KT sessions or working with the team.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
Overall i have enjoyed the past year of my programme, this year finding a role that suits me with a good team which has massively helped me enjoy work and what i do, along with joining and starting college. College has allowed me to gain new skills and meet new people which overall has helped me enjoy the programme and i feel it is a good programme i would recommend to other school leavers.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
I have learnt alot of new skills as well as developing skills. i have developed on my skills regarding different microsoft tools for example excel and the use of power querys or how outlook and teams work in order to share documents and collaborate together. Learning new skills such as mms and mme in order to complete the role i do on a day to day basis.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
2/5
The programme hasnt been the best in terms of structure. I feel this is due to the communication between the learning provider and the company. We started 2 months later than we should have therefore have had to compress our learning which hasnt been ideal. Along with the first year at college not being communicated properly on when exams or portfolios would need to be due.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
3/5
There is calls every month and we get set a peoples lead which we are able to have calls with to ask any questions or go to if we need any help. We also get set up with a buddy who has went through the experience to ask questions to whenever we like. The employers do try help by giving you support from people within the company.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
We do recieve support from our training provider, with even through the week when we are not in uni you are able to message them asking them questions and they will help. they also provide you with alot of materials to help you with your assignments and share them with you. Therefore i feel they give as much support as they could based on only going in once a week.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
2/5
The qualification i am receiving and learning with the training provider doesnt really help me within my role at all, the work i do at uni doesnt relfect in the work i do within my role. however i feel in the future once ive finished my qualification and learned everything to a high standard i feel i might be able to help improve some processes within my role once the knowledge is there but for now it doesnt help me perform better.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
4/5
There is lots of different activities to join in at work such as volunteering days, quizzes, sports teams, side of desk activities that you can help different charities or schools. Cooking classes or yoga classes, different activities you can join in by yourself or within a team. now we are back in the office they are also doing lunch events to try help bring everyone in and build a team
