I am a support worker for supported living. Day to day I help individuals with activities and day to day living tasks such as shopping budgeting and ensuring a safe place to live

To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I fully enjoyed my programme and my assessor was easy to contact and always there to help

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I learnt how to better manage individuals behaviour when learning more about the different kids of triggers. I also learnt how to help individuals make better choices without coercing them into a decision.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

My programme was very well spaced and gave enough time in between tasks to give time to focus.

I receive full support from my employer in anything I want to undertake as long as it is within reason

My training provider was amazing in my opinion couldn’t of done anything more to help

Since doing my qualification I inputted a lot of changes to how I worked and adjusted to be more person centred.

Through my whole experience I had support and help if I was ever confused or couldn’t understand I would recommend to anybody as the support and qualification makes it easier to help individuals more personally
