Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
My role includes answering the phones, serving customers, booking holidays, helping with customer amendments, selling foreign exchange, we can log onto a head set to answer calls across the UK, cancellations, complaints, advising on COVID 19 information and forms, booking and helping with Cruises
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
3/5
I love my programme. I do not feel there is enough support when it comes to completing English or Maths (for me it is Maths). If you struggle with Maths exams there is no support, we are told to revise at home and in work but I struggle with it.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
Yes, I have learnt how to answer the phone correctly, how to serve customers with a confident attitude, loads of travel knowledge, airports, air crafts, cruises, skiing and Hotels

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
It is organised and structured, I just feel there could be more support with Maths.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
4/5
I receive so much support, TUI are a great company to work for, but again as said Maths is difficult for me. I can do my job perfectly and I love it, but I feel we should have a maths or english tutor if that is what companies want from us.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
3/5
Lots towards my Travel Apprenticeship, but my assessor can only help me so much with my Maths exam. I think training providers should provide tutors to support us, I learn better with someone explaining things to me, not to be told I have to revise at home and figure it out for myself.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
5/5
Massively helps! Plenty of training we can do to help my knowledge and it will be amazing to finish my Apprenticeship and be qualified and know I deserve it.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
3/5
Some social events
