I attend Gen2 5 days a week which is an engineering college and I come here to learn the basics of pipe fitting and also have began to start doing a bit of welding.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I’ve learned Most of the joints that are used for pipefitting and learned how to do basic welding joints.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

Really well I am told in advance what I am doing and my mentors keep in touch with me weekly asking how I’m getting on and if I have any troubles.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

A lot they come and see me face to face monthly for my review but I’m in contact with them every week.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I feel really good about it because they provide all the training I need to become qualified.

Yes the apprenticeship challenge which has only just started.

Why?
Because it is a large company which take on a lot of apprentices and the amount of work they have all around the country and even the world shows that it is a life time job.

Give it your when researching and interview because it could be a job for life.
