Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
Within my role I visit patients who have had falls or fractured their hips. I will visit care homes and people in their own homes. I will then rehabilitate them with a holistic view.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
I really enjoyed my program, my supervisor was very supportive of my education as was my redeployed phase as well. Thank you to those who have supported me along my way.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
I have been able to develop my skills in speaking up as well as finding reliable resources which I can use to help support patients understanding of conditions.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
Overall, very well organized however I feel perhaps clinical leads and managers could be given more education around the course I am studying and perhaps better understanding about how foundation degrees work.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
3/5
I received excellent support from my clinical supervisor as well as the education team. However I received no support from my clinical lead and they weren't very aware it appeared of my educational needs.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
I received a good amount of support from the college as well as the library so I can't thank them enough for their support.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
5/5
It gives me a foundation to build upon my experiences as well as supporting my patients and other staff with their health needs.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
1/5
Nothing that I am aware of as yet
