Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
managing study leave for trainees in East Midlands, system maintenance
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
3/5
Somewhat. I enjoy the flexibility in work and deadlines which fits with my busy work/life balance. However, I do think there should be more transparency in content and benefit of apprenticeships prior to commitment.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
3/5
Learned some new skills and developed existing ones. For example learned new content for project management.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
2/5
Somewhat organised. There are times when worked is not marked off on time and information is missed. Tutor led presentations are not actually tutor led and are just reading material.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
4/5
A lot of support. I get protected time within my working hours to complete work, which is flexible. However due to limited admin support no one can cover my work while I focus on the apprenticeship.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
A lot of flexibility, questions are answered clearly when needed.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
4/5
Somewhat. As helpful as it is to learn new skills and knowledge, the scenarios are tailored more towards the private sector rather than a public sector which makes it more difficult to apply.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
4/5
With now remote working, there are many networks available as well as social activities such as a 'coffee catch up' or quizzes, especially during holidays
