5/5
i really enjoy learning and found the experience pleasurable. my tutor was fantastic, supportive and understanding of personal issues i had during the course. i really liked the functionality of Bud as a user platform and found it really easy to navigate. i would happiy do another course with Paragon in the future.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
i feel i have learnt new skills and successfully passed my Maths in this apprenticeship which i was dreading and normally struggle with. i feel my general skills have developed and i have learnt new skills, particularly around project planning and change management. This course has given me more confidence.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
i really liked the structure of the programme. it was easy to see what work i had or had not done and the uploading facility was easy. i liked the added extra cognassist programme. the only thing i would note is sometimes in the city and guilds exams, some questions came up i hadnt known which then came up further down the line in the course.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
My employer has been very supportive and has encouraged me and allowed me to take the time needed to complete the training. As a trust, training is high on the list of priorities so training is encouraged. Overall i am very satisfied with the support received from my employer and from the trust as a whole.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
my training provider was really supportive. they always sent me the work i needed with hints and tips. They were responsive and on hand to answer queries i may have. They knew my worries and fears and helped me to manage these which enabled me to successfully complete my course
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
5/5
I feel my role is greatly improved with this extra learning. i am spotting things in my day to day role i can now do better due to the learning received. i feel the course has really helped me with my project i have been managing and has given me great tools and matrixes to use to benefit my work.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
there is extra curricular activities within my trust and we get monthly newsletters informing us of groups or activities. Covid has had a negative effect on meeting up but hppefully things are changing. I am not aware of any sports teams but i do know some charitable events take place where staff can walk/run to raise money as teams.

Recommendations & Advice

Would you recommend NHS to a friend?
Yes
Why?
I would recommend this training to colleagues as i found the course useful to my role and really interesting. I found the course easy to manage and follow, i liked the way tasks were broken down into months and work set.. i have done two apprenticeships now with paragon and have found the tutors to be great, professional and hands on as welll as really encouraging
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to NHS?
the main tips i would advise to others applying to this company would to be preppared to work hard to see the rewards. Having the equipment in place and speaking to IT to ensure software needed (for things like exams) is ready to download on laptops so you dont have this worry before an exam.
