Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
I work for BTHFT in the Education Department. I organise the Trainee GP Scheme training programme and all that is involved with it.
I arrange weekly and monthly teaching, organise annual reviews for Trainees and keep accurate records of attendance. I monitor all absence and arrange for training programmes to be extended if necessary.
I regularly liaise with a variety of senior staff members to ensure the programme runs as smoothly as possible.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
I am enjoying the programme although have found it hard going back into learning and juggling this with work.

Skills Development

The apprenticeship I am undertaking has given me good insight into being a coach.
The workshops have been extremely useful and have help develop my skills and knowledge of coaching. I have learnt the differences of being a coach, mentor, trainer, consultant and counsellor.

4/5
I feel supported by the training provider.

Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
2/5
No although I haven't fully explored this.
