One role involves managing meetings, pulling together slides and presenting them, and presenting opportunities from specific accounts and keeping on top of these opportunities.
My other role involves building applications and automated flows, assisting with incident management, and managing the back end servers.

To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy my programme a lot, from attending University on Monday and learning new content each week and then applying this to my assignments to learning how to create new tools, manage the back end servers, and navigate the Salesforce dashboard.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt how to use SharePoint and manage lists and create PowerApps forms, as well as create automated flows in power automate. I have also learnt a few coding languages in order to manage the back end servers.

Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

My programme is quite well structured. Attending University one day a week allows me time to learn the content and then complete assignments after work or on the weekends. I am also allowed to take study days in case my University work gets too busy.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I receive quite a bit of support as my supervisor ensures that work I have set is complete and always offers to assist if I ever get stuck, this is for both of my projects as well. I also always get feedback from people I have done work for.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I receive a sufficient amount of support with access to the learning support team for assistance with referencing and lectures in order to attend 1-1 calls if I ever need help with anything.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

At the moment, not much of the work I do at University transfers over to my roles. However, the skills I am developing at University will no doubtingly help me when it comes to working in, specifically, a security role.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

I help with work that comes into the pipeline for the security team and am a part of the sports and social team where I come up with ways people could get involved in, currently, online social events and outdoor sporting events.

Why?
Accenture is very inclusive, no matter your level. There is always opportunities out there to try new roles to see what you like and what you don't. The apprenticeship programme allows for you to get experience in the working world gaining a salary, as well as get your degree.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Accenture?
Be confident when you are having your interviews and speak about things that make you stand out and not things that everyone has already done/said. Try and be creative and come up with ideas that people before you may not have thought of and make your voice heard.
