Recommendations & Advice

Would you recommend Financial Ombudsman Service to a friend?
Yes
Why?
Employers are supportive and motivating. They assist you in making goals and ensure you are reaching them by reviewing your progress in regular meetings. It's a flexible workplace, they are supportive of your home situation, whether you have childcare in the afternoons or work better early mornings, Financial Ombudsman are accommodating to that.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Financial Ombudsman Service?
Interpersonal skills are key in a workplace like FOS, ensure you have great interpersonal skills. Be open minded, it helps to have a rough idea of what you want to achieve whilst working here but be aware that working here can either add or change your goals (for the better). Be open and honest, your relationship with your manager/supervisor is the most important, if you're open and honest with them they will be able to help you.
