Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
Besides hard skills, I have drastically improved my confidence, which helps me in personal and professional life immensely.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?
I think it's really well done, and there's a lot of consideration to accomodate apprentices, as we're essentially full time employed.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
As someone who likes to ask questions, I was a little hesitant at the start of the programme, only to find that asking questions is encouraged as everyone understands that we're learning and makes you feel like part of a team.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
Benefit of being an apprentice, is having the ability to escalate these issues to your employer, if they're not being resolved by the training provider, although that is a very rare occasion.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
The biggest benefit is not the qualification making me perform better, but the work making me perform better in studies, as knowing the practical aspect of subjects we're learning makes things much easier and clears up any knowledge gaps.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
Recommendations & Advice
Would you recommend Accenture to a friend?
Why?
If you're competent, you will not be limited to "what you can do". As an apprentice, I've had an opportunity to present to clients, manage internal and external teams and be the point of contact for several large workstreams, so - the only thing that limits you here, is yourself.
