Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
I am part of Assessment Team in PRRT so I triage all received referrals and provide first visit in a patient home.
During the home visit I asses patients needs and organise appropriate support.
I will discuss with patient care plan and make referrals to other services if needed.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
At present I think that it was one of my best decisions I have ever made.
I really enjoy the programm.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
My communication skills are better.
I learn something new every day.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?
All lectures are very supportive and delivering great live sesions and presentations.
I hope that we will be able to return to University in near future to have more face to face contact.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
My primary placement assessor regularly checking on my progress and helps me to achieve my goals.
I could not have work for a better team and I am very greatfull for all support.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
Everyone worked really hard during Covid-19 pandemic but as a student I have received lots of training/ informative presentations and currently I am during my 3rd Placement.
I have regular 1:1 meetings to discuss progress and leraning needs.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
I have gained knowledge about long term conditions ( signs, medicationts, treatment) I have also expanded my knowledge about anthony and physiology .
During my placement I have learnt new skills and experienced different settings ( acute hospital, mental health ward).
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
I think some of my colleagues was meeting for joga classes or quiz night at the pub.
Solent NHS Trust provides well being meeting via teams which is available to all employees.
I like swimming and I try to do it after work.

Would you recommend NHS to a friend?
Why?
All teams work in partnership as a large MDT what is beneficial for all patients.
Solent NHS Trust provides lots of trainings and opportunities to learn , study and promotions.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to NHS?
Starting from interview, everything was professional and I had job offer next day.
The Trust provides with laptops and phones.
I have learnt new skills and now I am extending my qualifications via apprenticeship program.
If anyone thinking about applying for Solent NHS Trust I definitely recommend it.
