Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
1/5
On a daily basis my role is dealing with the preparation of what would happen in a crisis, ensuring we have the correct people to respond to the crisis and all paperwork is up to date and auditable, it also involves on the spot work such as providing training and responding to a crisis.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
1/5
I enjoyed the program but I didn't enjoy the way that we were pushed from trainer to trainer and not given the support we needed resulting in us having lots of extra work needing to be done that could of been done along the way rather than at the end.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
2/5
During my apprenticeship I have learnt new skills such as how to lead a team through all different kind of things and how to deal with different learning styles, I have also learnt that there is lots of troubles with the programme such as trainers not training us properly and leaving part way through.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
1/5
I think the structured program is not organised correctly as the work wasn't clearly marked out what we need to do how to complete it was all just told at the end that we now need to provide evidence of how we did it and how it was done and then get witness statements right at the end after months of doing the programme.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
2/5
I didn't receive much support from the employer but I did for my manager because my manager was also completing IT apprenticeship but I found the apprenticeship team at TUI or they held was feedback sessions that never got acted on as there was problems with the learning provider
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
2/5
On completing the apprenticeship I thought we were getting a lot of support for my training provider but we will pass from different apprenticeship coach to different apprenticeship college and then we had a really good lady near the end which went through all our work and told us how much left we had to complete which was an awful lot compared to if we have been told throughout the apprenticeship what we actually needed to do.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
2/5
I feel my qualification has given me more skills to perform my role better such as how to deal with different people effectively and how to provide my training better to keep people more interesting and to take more away from the training. I feel like if I am ever in a management role that it will benefit me a lot more
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
3/5
At current there is no extra activities to get involved with at my work as coronavirus has meant that this is unable to be completed but in the future that there will be more activities that can be done and potentially that I can organise for everyone and my team.
