I run a team of restaurants providing QS&C to customers. My restaurants see sales volumes of around 1.5 million per month.
The teams I lead include Riversway, Deepdale, Lytham st Ann’s and Asda Fulwood.
My role includes strategic planning and reviewing business results giving feedback on KPI’s
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I loved gaining new skills and the program helped me develop as a leader within the business. I gained a variety of skills and spent time looking into different management practise and being a valued employee, I was able to work towards a promotion throughout the programme and deliver top end resukts

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Since completing the degree I’ve lot of new skills including project manage using a variety of soft ware including Microsoft project, smart sheets and sheets.
I’ve learnt skills including leading through the pandemic with skills to empower me to deal with Covid 19 challenges and manage the business through a lense

The program was very well structured and from day one the plan by McDonald’s and manchester met was presented professionally. I feel the work place could have been supported more and my line manager could have had a better understanding of the program. Overall the program was well suited to me

My workplace where great they supported the program and paid towards the course and expenses while studying at manchester met. I got given time and scope with my schedule which allowed me to complete reports and gather data to Right the reports and complete the essays. The office team didn’t

The training provider helped me and supported my leadership through effective one file session and online training and calls. While there is nothing wrong with prioritizing quality (it is what makes a business successful, after all), checking over every small detail yourself rather than delegating can waste everyone's valuable time. The role allowed me to attend different Extracurriculars refer to activities pursued outside of the classroom and the degree supported networking. Examples of extracurricular activities are: being a member of a mmu team, So the session aimed at development helped me on the the task and delivery to progress within the business

Why?
I personally feel Coaching is more performance driven, designed to improve the professional's on-the-job performance. Mentoring is more development driven, looking not just at the professional's current job function but beyond, taking a more holistic approach to career development. So managers will improve and the business will be better
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to McDonald's?
Why do you want to work at McDonald's? To work in a challenging fast-paced environment like McDonald's. It gives you skills and development within a day to day role. Say you feel McDonald's offers exceptional value for its customers and because of this you would be proud to represent them, I love my role
