Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
I am responsible for E.ON's early careers and school strategy. I look after the Graduate and Degree Apprenticeship schemes in particular and look at how we can support young people into employment through apprenticeships.
I regularly speak with internal and external networks and through the use of our stories share what it's like to either work at E.ON or complete a scheme or apprenticeship here at E.ON.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
Really enjoy it!

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
I have learnt a number of things and developed so many skills during my time of employment here at E.ON. This has helped me to understand which apprenticeship qualification I wanted to do. I'm also able to now map over my course modules and align to projects and experience in the business

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
5/5
Very. I do my programme alongside working but have 1 day per week allocated to studies. My Uni and line manager are very supportive.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
Lots! My manager, team and mentors are very supportive.
This week I put a call in with a senior leader to understand more about a topic that links to my module and on the back of it I've been given an opportunities to join a project to get first hand experience and see the project from start to end/implementation.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
Enough - it's difficult doing this remotely.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
5/5
100% - this is giving me more understanding and help to think more strategically when operating in my day to day role.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
We have networks and activities on our intranet.
