Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
3/5
Apprentice duties and light tasks, including servicing and brakes and minor repairs.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
Not sure what I would do without spanners in my life. They make up a part of me that only mechanics can fulfil.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
To be more organised as we have to balance a few different jobs at one time. And developing the skills required to become a vehicle tech by working with different people and drawing indifferent strengths.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
What I learn at work we base around a particular subject we are learning about at college, as it is easier to explain theory based upon practical application.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
4/5
Heavily supported by mentors more than anyone else.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
College has always been by my side from the get go which has helped to reassure me.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
4/5
the two go hand in hand one wouldn't work without the other, espically since apprentices are hands on types of people. We use work to help us through understanding the theory and principles behinds vehicle running and maintenance.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
3/5
Probably but I'm not really sure since we have recently been taken over by Enterprise.
