Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

I start with my housekeeping tasks such as cleaning the pit and emptying the bins. Once done I will go to my shiftleader and he will give me a task he feels is good to progress my experience. I have completed a range of tasks suck as brake disc pads and chambers, hubs, clutches and more once complete I will get a trained technician to quality check my work
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy the program learning new skills as I get paid. I have grate colleagues witch I enjoy to work with but also a range off experience helping me progress. I look forward to the collage blocks and I learn new things each block and I get to see my friends

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Whilst on my apprenticeship I have developed more confidence working independently but also as a team. I've grew on my skills on problem solving helping my complete tasks. I've also grown on my time keeping skills getting faster completing jobs. I've also grew on my practical tasks taking on tasks I wouldn't of before hand.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

I think it is organised well they has been a few things with covid I think could of been done differently but overall it's a well organised programme
How much support do you receive from your employer?

My employer is really supportive anything problems I can go to him and he can help me the best he can and I feel like I can talk to him if I have a problem. We have a good working relationship and this helps other that my employer him self there is other places I could go to talk to aswell with in the company if I needed
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I have received a grate help and supported from my training provider such as training sessions and tasks to help me gain the skills I need to complete my exams and continue to be there setting work through out the pandemic to help me progress. I have recently passed my English exams and couldn't of done this with out their help
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

The training received from the collage helps me gain the knowledge on how to understand a task and the correct procedure to complete it in a safe manner aswell as gaining skills from team work exercises set from tutors helping me work better with my colleagues in the workshop
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Our company takes part in a range of activities such as wear red day for British heart foundation, raised money for LGBTQ, a sponsored walk for cancer research

They are a good caring company that are there for you as a employee as well as their customers as a apprentice I've been looked after and able to talk able any concerns I may have.

Be yourself work hard and be honest as it goes a long way to earning respect
