The Overall Rating is the average of all the ratings given in each category. We take those individual ratings and combine them into one final score!
Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
I also arrange face to face courses by scheduling them into the system, which will also send an email out to the attendees with the schedule of the course.
as well as creating new courses when requested by instructors.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
i also like to be independent when it comes to learning modules/assignments i prefer to be provided with information and a brief and then start the assignments as i find it easier to plan and write them that way.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
I have developed my communication skills through emails or Microsoft Teams calls/meetings.
I have also developed my Excel skills - I had little knowledge on this when leaving school and have had the chance to develop this through creating reports, or collecting data in a spreadsheet etc.
i have also developed my time management skills by needing to prioritise emails/workload.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?
How much support do you receive from your employer?
me and my manager discuss when i have calls for my apprenticeship or when i need to have days out to work on my apprenticeship, this has been very easy to discuss and arrange.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
I think because I am still early on in my programme and have only just started the programme end of January it is too early for me to judge.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
Recommendations & Advice
Would you recommend The AA to a friend?
Why?
Everyone has been so welcoming and helpful, I can see from my own work and colleagues that everyone is willing to help when and where they can.
recognition for good work is always provided which i think creates a good work ethic as it can be rewarding for people.
I can also tell that there is lots of room for progress at the AA whether that is changing departments or picking up new courses and improving your skills.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to The AA?
I would also say be honest, they're very understanding and if there is something you can or can't do at that moment in time or ever, communicate this with them and they will be able or at least try to make arrangements for you to work around this
