Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
Developing new and working on existing software applications for Accenture's clients. Writing and debugging code, assisting in sprint planning and helping meet teams goals in terms of production.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
I greatly enjoy both my work with Accenture's clients and my time at University of East London, I feel that both give me rounded experience as a developer.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
I have learnt a wealth of new programming languages including Python, Java, Golang and Javascript. I have also gained experience using common development tools such as Github, Jira and Confluence. On top of this I have been given valuable insight into what is required to plan and deliver products for clients using agile methodology.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
3/5
The majority of the time, modules at university are well structured and delivered, however in the last year there have been a couple of instances where modules were badly delivered and communication seemed poor.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
4/5
As much or as little as I ask for.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
As much as we ask for, lecturers have been very understanding and have extended deadlines in the past when they can see it is necesary and are always there for us to ask questions.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
2/5
Qualification does not offer a great deal to support my role, I feel that I pick up a lot more useful experience on the job.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
3/5
Yes, although when working from home (and due to the fact I reside outside of London) I have felt a little isolated.
