Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
Serving customers with different rental needs into cars/vans. Delivering cars to different corporate accounts. Overall learning how to manage, run and grow a business through taking on various captaincies.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Definitely, I was treated equally to every other person at my branch, I took on various roles which held significant importance at the branch.

How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?
The managers at the Bedford south branch have been amazing, they have helped me grow so much through their continued support and I feel so much more confident in my abilities. I also value the time my area manager spends going over different topics each week to help improve my knowledge, particularly before skills tests!

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
I loved my branch, though we faced hard days everyone always came together to help out to get the job done quicker. It was a fun work environment and I valued that we could always have a laugh whilst getting the job done!

Overall Experience
To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
I really enjoyed my placement, I am so glad I decided to do a year in industry at enterprise. Though it could definitely be challenging at times the support I received from my managers and team made it a lot easier and a lovely environment to work in. I feel I have learnt so much over the year about business management but also improved and gained a variety of transferable skills which I believe will help me greatly in the future.

Though it can be hard work, it can definitely be rewarding. Don’t be afraid to reach out to managers or your team as everyone here has definitely made my experience I wouldn’t have learnt as much as I have without all of their support. Everyone has started where we have started and more than happy to share advice and skills with you.
