Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
We were allocated a superior and trainee buddy within each department at the start of each week. We then had the opportunity to complete work set by the supervisor, as well as other members of the team. There was ample time to meet up with other members of the firm, from various departments to gain insight into different areas. This was complemented with the scheduled focus sessions which gave an overview of each practice area. Assessed elements included a group presention in the second week, as well as feedback from supervisors and engagement with other members of the firm. Additional elements included a pro brono workshop and various socials organised by the trainees.
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
A large aspect of the scheme was tailored to make this very clear.
